Can't fathom the mashed potato binge.

How much more would it cost them to offer a loaded baked potato?  Or other veggies..squash, corn, peppers?

Recently completed a B2B on Infinity, 1st leg we were able to use Blu, 2nd leg unfortunately not. Blu was excellent, loved every meal we had there, MDR was pitiful, we ended up going to the buffet most nights .... something that we would never do prior to this cruise 😞

There is usually an area listed as "Mexican" food but if I was mexican I would complain. It's horrible and there is no actual taco meat....just Chili Con Carne and canned cheese sauce.

Remember what happened in 2020?  Cruiselines are trying to make money.  We need to (sadly) either accept the new situation or vacation in a different way.

Yes all good points.  The cruise industry and passengers are all now paying the piper for the extended pandemic shutdown and what the industry had to do to survive financially.  And coupled of course seriously high inflation over the past couple of years and supply chain disruptions.  These are facts,  undisputable, for all cruise lines.   The cruise lines today that deal with all of this best and get back to less debt and profitability will win.  But we all must recognize the major changes with more coming.  Not that we have to like it.  Some (like me) will not cruise for a period and spend money on other vacation choices.

Except that the depths of the cuts are not universal. They vary.  A lot.  Speaking of lots of days since restart on other lines also, Azamara, Princess and Holland America.

on Equinox last week they only offered tacos one lunchtime. Remaining days they had chicken and beef thinly sliced with peppers and onions mixed in. They had some sort of flour wrap you could use. Also had rice and refried beans.

We had fantastic food on NCL Haven. 9 days in Haven was cheaper than 8 days in AQ. We tried it and loved it.
