Has anyone stayed in an obstructed ocean view at the front of the ship on deck 10 on Sapphire or Diamond Princess?

We are considering picking a cabin on the Sapphire Princess. We have a choice of an obstructed ocean view on deck 8, at the aft of the ship, or a cabin at the very front of the ship on deck 10. On the deck plan, we can see the life boats location on deck 8, therefore having an idea how obstructed the view is. But when we look at the cabin location of the obstructed cabins in the very front of deck 10, they look like they are located right before the bow of the ship. We can't see what the obstruction is, and we are guessing there is some railing of some sort, or simply you are looking at the bow of the ship but not a smooth view of the ocean. Has any folks stayed in any of these cabins in the Sapphire Princess or the Diamond Princess? Or any other Princess ship of the same class of design. If you have photos you can post of these cabins, or any obstructed cabins you have stayed in, that would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure about the specific ship, but we tried one on the very front, thinking we could view the trip through the Panama Canal from our room.  No.  There was a raised deck blocking everything and full of people!  Fortunately, the ship was not full and we went back to our side obstructed view.  Good luck.

We had cabin C103 front facing cabin in the Diamond Princess in January of this year. Ironically it was booked and sold as a view cabin but ironically it turned out to have an extremely large a balcony cabin. We were surprised and very happy. It overlooked a deck below with a small swimming pool that was used by the crew only. We were puzzled at the classification and only figured the classification was due front facing cabins usually aren't used on sea days because of the wind. Nevertheless, there was no signs prohibiting its use on the Diamond and we frequently used it throughout the cruise (sea days and port days). It still had a nice view with nothing obstructing it and we very much enjoyed it. I'm assuming the other front facing cabins are similar, but I'm not sure about that.
