Hi  We'll be in Kona for one day in January and are considering spending part of the day at Kona Keiki Beach/Queen's Bath. It appears to be within an easy walk of the tender pier. It is a public beach but is surrounded by a gated community. I would be interested to know the best/easiest/safest way to access this beach from the Kailua Pier.

Thanks for any information you can provide.
