Barcelona port

Hi!

 Just book a cruise with NCL Escape in a haven suite and just wondering if anybody knows if NCL has a separate waiting area for haven guests or are we all together?

I am wondering the exact same thing. Anyone that can provide some insight on this?

In May for the Epic, Barcelona had an area for Haven passengers right next to the last door before you stepped onto the deck. Only Haven passengers or those in Transit could get that far. There were snacks and drinks there.

The port is beeing moved to the Moll d'Adossat pier, further away from the city center fyi.

If you want alcohol to take on board Barcelona is a brilliant port!!!    Your bags are inspected immediately you go through the doors.   Then there is an alcohol selling area when you have checked in!!

Even with the new location, there will be a haven waiting area after security. So you join the masses depending on when you arrive. Once past security there will be signage saying haven check in. Usually at the very end of check in. If you don't see it, ask the person directing people to the different check ins.

 

We usually only hang about in the haven waiting area waiting for to board.if there is nothing holding us to board we just go onboard as the waiting area usually consists of a few chairs, some snacks and drinks you find onboard anyway

This isn’t guaranteed. They often check bags when actually boarding the ship as well (about 50% of the time in my experience). Not that it matters as much these days now not many people are charged.

That's where the big ships have always docked for years 

 

It's over the bridge. 

 

Port shuttle available to bottom of Las Ramblas.

 

The berths getting closed are the inner ones where the smaller ships berthed.

Correct and this doesn’t affect NCL
