A few observations, just off the Seaside YC on Oct 22 (2023)

We cruised the Seaside YC on two 7 day cruises out of Port Canaveral with one week off between them. From 10/1 to 10/8 and 10/15 to 10/22.

We had a great time on both cruises!  This was our eighth 7 day cruise on the Seaside.

Food was good and did not disappoint.

The YC service was excellent and very welcoming.

Shows were good. Fun to watch but not high production values.

Side notes:

No wrist bands either cruise, we were told a supply issue.

On the first cruise the elevator card priority did not work, told it was an IT issue. It would say "unable to process".  Second cruise it did work maybe 30% of the time. A familiar response was "unable to allocate".

A five year old RFID Hilton card did work to keep power on in the cabin for recharging.

Several times we asked for a 6:55 escort from our room for a 7:30 show.  We used this when we wanted a front row center seat. Doors open at 7:00 (30 mins early) but with a butler escort you get whisked into the theater early in front of a long line.

Express debarkation with a butler escort was a breeze.  Our butler took our big bag all the way to the facial recognition point. He was on the list to be able to get off the ship.
