Are all of the restaurants already booked up?

We sail on the Carnival Celebration in less than two weeks. 

 

I just clicked on specialty dining and all I am seeing is the chef's table and then a bunch of classes.

 

Does that mean all restaurants, including sushi, are booked up?

 

I have never seen that happen before. Usually we can get reservations while we are on the ship.

 

It isn't do or die for me to eat at a specialty restaurant, but I do like having the option available.

 

Also, if we do a chef's table, can we request gluten and milk free?

sold out restaurants should still appear on the site.
i noticed several missing specialty dining options from my bookings as well, such as cucina and rudi's.

Weird.  Maybe it's a fluke and they will reappear.

Only time ive seen specialty restaurants book up pre cruise are from a competitor that offers free at sea dining packages to most cruisers. 

 

Steakhouse and hibachi can book up. 

 

Havent had same problem on ccl at all.

I’m on this cruise, and I think (hope) its just a glitch, BUT the cruise IS completely sold out.

 

Just make sure that you let dining know about needing gluten and diary free BEFORE the chef’s table—I know they can accomodate varied requests including gluten free, vegetarian, and even vegan

Not on this sailing but one is March and one day almost all the available dining options like Teppanyaki, and the Chef's table disappeared. I am guessing its a glitch and not a sold out issue. The website has been reallll funky since the "upgrade".

I called Carnival Website support this morning as I was only seeing The Chefs Table, Steakhouse, and Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast.

 

The lady I spoke with said that IT knows of the issue and they are working on it, but do not have an ETA.

I noticed this too. I was wondering if it may have something to do with the price increase. I know the prices were showing higher for some of the restaurants, but when you went to book they were still the normal price. Now they are gone completely.

As of 4:45pm, looks like Carnival IT has fixed the issue with the Specialty Restaurants not showing up.  I was able to book Teppanyaki for the Horizon on 1.20.24.
