Manzanillo, Mexico -- PLEASE HELP -- Question & Suggestions

Our ship doesn't offer many excursions at Manzanillo ... and it doesn't look as though there's that much to do right at the port.  So here's what I'm thinking/hoping we might be able to do.  Is there a nice beach restaurant/bar relatively close by that we could easily walk/taxi/bus/uber to ... and then play it be ear from there?  Any beach restaurant/bar that you could suggest?  We'd be perfectly content to kick back an hour or so there, walk around for a bit, and then just make our way back to the ship.

There are some shops and restaurants where the ship docks and vendors selling tours and taxis. If you want a beach, you'd have to cab to it.

 

You might check on a day pass for Las Hadas.

I would suggest you to take a 15 minutes taxi ride going to "Pata Salada" Beach Bar, nice place at the beach just at the opposite side of the cruise dock where we went some years ago. Good drinks and food plus music and swimming opportunities.

@ajtraveler66 how was your trip there? I am planning to visit there in next February. I would like to know some details. Anyone else visited there recently?

I made a small travel plan. I am also looking for these ports, Costa Maya and the Yucatan. Someone please let me know what are the other attraction I can get around these? Also, What's the cruise the select. Budget isn't an issue as long as the trip is nice enough. Btw, I was checking an article regarding which places to visit https://gowithguide.com/blog/tourism-in-mexico-statistics-2023-all-you-need-to-know-5248 and Puerto Vallarta seems a good place to check out. Are there any recommended activities  apart from snorkelling and water sports?
