OH NO!! Not another Mazatlan Question..

I hope I get some people who will respond. I really didn't want to read through the long threads to find answers for my specific questions. Our family of 6 will be in Mazatlan in a couple of weeks. We basically just want to hang out somewhere and go swimming. Are there any hotels where we can pay a fee and use their facilities? Any hotels with private beaches that we can visit and snorkel? Any help would be appreciated.

Just go to El Cid resort. As long as you eat and drink, you can use their pool. Sometimes you might tell the waiter (some waiters) and give a little tip and he might lend you some towels. El Cid is cruiseship passengers friendly. The taxi ride in a taxi is around $12us for 4 people. They also have taxi vans like for your case. It is normally double ($20us for the 6 probably) Ask first though. Hope this helps!
