Here is something new, M had a note from the casino offering $350 free play if she gets 5000 slot points by tomorrow at 1159. I've never seen that offer before.

She also had a shore excursion notice for another cabin. It's a time change notice so I took it to the correct room so someone does not potentially miss their shore excursion but that's the kind of thing they should be a little more careful with.

Play Texas Hold'em occasionally, how hard is it to get 5000 slot points?

I've always found Mongolian to be the most consistently good meal on the ship. Just a terrible line unless you catch it on a port day. And not an unpopular port like Nassau where everyone had the same idea.

M doesn't like it either, she will be happy to hear she has company in the don't like Mongolian Wok camp 😆.

Cunard has a nice library as well.

I don't play when I just want a drink because like you said, I could have just paid for my drink two or three times over feeding a machine.

I thought you mentioned you can camp out at a machine and order a drink without playing very much?

That's what I do. I don't play while I am waiting. If I am playing anyway is one thing. But if I just want a drink, I don't bother playing. Royal let's me order at the bar...for now. There have been rumors of that going away, but so far each time they trial it on a ship it gets so much uproar they change their mind.

That salad was really good. I've enjoyed all of the dinner salads so far with the exception of the first one which was the Asian chicken one. It was good, but not real filling. These other ones I've been getting have really been hitting the spot.

We have booked steakhouse for night 5 and are considering Italian for tomorrow.

I am always excited to see mongolian wok on the ship.  The idea seems great, the toppings look interesting, but when I get it back to the table it is never as good as I was imagining it to be.

We tried the table service Asian on Vista for lunch one day and it is not something we would repeat. No better than anything we would get on the buffet, and without the immediacy and all the choices of the buffet.  The oddest thing was that there seemed to be no rhyme or reason as to when the food was cooked and the two of us got our food at completely different times, as did tables around us; people who came in later got their food sooner. It was a weird vibe overall for us.

Still, it was fine, I can see why people would enjoy that as a lunch option but counter service I think just fits us better.
