Went to the casino earlier. Good news is it's spread out and not cramped. Bad news is it's 90% full of old machines. I'm just playing small amounts and when I look at what others are betting they're doing the same.

not everyone 😉 and just after we were debating if the machines were rigged cause no one had gotten a 4 of a kind.  Guess not.  Completely agree casino kinda empty and older machines.  However I do kind like it! 😂

I’m going to in C617 on the Emerald on December 9th. What are the plugs like up where the TV use to be?  Any photos appreciated so I can plan what I need.

Anything on the ship that would be helpful to know?

Thanks!

Tom😀

Plug on shelf I’m assuming this was old TV location?

Old or new slots. They are all set to pay roughly the same. Try table games.

I like the glitz and bling of the new machines... just more exciting. It'd be nice to have a big win but I just play for entertainment.

you're doing it right--big win typically comes with big loss leaving nothing in the pocket but lint and a tax form 😂  luckily this trip has that built in "rehab" of 7 port days so no more time to lose it back 😇

this 14th floor is the best, i think its 30 steps from my room door to my lounger at the terrace pool and the buffet isn't much further.

thanks for your report and have fun in these upcoming ports! 😃

For years I've hoped to have Magic to do on my cruise and I was so disappointed. I love Princess production shows but this one was not good. Completely disjointed and at one point near the end one of the female singers had the stage for a solo and the song had absolutely nothing to do with the theme of the show. If we weren't in the middle of the theater we would have walked out. Waste of an evening.

I came off MSC and my connectors are for their European outlets unfortunately.  Did you say you just came off another cruise before this one?

We were on the Rotterdam.  Going from the staterooms and big walk in showers to showering in a broom closet with a curtain was difficult. Can't wait for the Sun next year.

Damn I hate how that material feels on bare feet. Guess will leave flip flops by the patio door for our Panama cruise in Jan

I think they do that just for drainage. Can't have PAX slipping and sliding around balconies.

So big wins are paid in cash not check ?  No way to get it on ship board account and pay down another cruise with it or something ?

yeah it’s kind of messy— basically unless you want a casino check mailed to your home address from Miami corporate (I’m not going home til May so that isn’t an option) you have to initially take cash from the casino and then walk that cash over to the reception desk and deposit that into your onboard ship account.  At that point you have a range or more palatable options.  The system isn’t intended or designed for anyone to win lol.

This is the way it always has been.  Pretty much the same as any stateside casino I have ever been to. Check mailed to you or cash. It is up to you to decide whether to continue playing or not

guess it depends where you're playing i've had checks issued to me at the time of the win from NYNY, Wynn, Bellagio and Flamingo.  I've never been told no to a live check anywhere until Princess.  But I don't have a problem with it, that is their process.  It's a non-issue.

Today we're in Guadeloupe for the first time. I plan on doing a review and posting on the port board because there's hardly any info there. We did an amazing snorkeling excursion that ended up at a small sand island. It was a wonderful day.
