Have no idea what to do..

First time on a cruise to the area. Have no idea what to do. We love chilling on the beach and having drinks with possible snorkeling. Like to do a little local shopping. Any suggestions at all? There are so many things that I am overwhelmed. Do not want to do a tour. Rather just enjoy the scenery. Possibly not far from the cruise port. Definitely not a crowded place. It will be during Spring break so I am sure there will be tons at the popular spots. TIA

St Maarten/St Martin sounds perfect based on what you're looking for, but I don't think you can avoid crowds if you travel anywhere during spring break or holidays.

 

St Thomas is all about the beautiful views but you need to take a tour that will take you to the scenic lookouts.
