We will be group of 11 with luggage disembarking Norwegian Breakaway.  Notes state 5am disembark but I know that is not when we leave.  Looking to book 11am flight back to US from Barcelona airport and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for private van service pickup to airport from port.

I figured may be cheaper or same price vs lining up for taxis which I presume we will need 3-4 taxis  Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Taxi. You do not need to book in advance. You will surely find them in the taxi stand out of the terminal.

Fixed rate to the airport.

Are there any Hotels, within walking distance to the NCL cruise terminal in Barcelona?

Unless your ship is at the World Trade Center Terminal, you would have a very, very long walk to get to any of the other terminals. Here is a map of the terminals:

There are a few hotels within walking distance of the WTC terminal.  Go to your travel documents. If it says Terminal A-E, or Moll Adossat, you are better off taking a taxi to the pier. I would advise you to stay at a hotel that is convenient for your sightseeing and forget about walking to the pier. Taxis are inexpensive and they would get you to the actual terminal your ship is on.

There aren't.

Barcelona port is quite near city centre but distance between terminals and nearest hotels is over 2 km. I bet you will prefer to grab a taxi for that distance.

Our ship will arrive at 5 a.m. so walk off should be around 6:30 or so.   I am looking at a flight at 12:15.  I am sceptical about making it, but it is the only direct flight that day.

for those who have done early flights, how difficult is security and immigration.

thank you.

That is plenty of time. You have almost six hours when you need three at most.

You shouldn't have any problem.

Just remember you are leaving and stronger controls are in arrivals, not departures.

After a passport check, the only issue to declare is cash. This is... you are not importing goods (anything you could have) but just exporting. It is not forbidden except cash. And flights to US aren't suspicious to have passengers with forbidden cash.

FYI, you will not see any "inmigration" sign but "customs".

It is the most common word not only in Spain but in most of European countries.
