JAM810 Posted March 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2006 Is anyone aware of a cruise line that offers chef enrichment programs; i.e. a program/seminar for those interested in becomeing a chef?
kitty9 Posted March 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2006 I've not heard of anything like that, but I know that Crystal has many food and wine festivals on their cruises where guest chefs come on board and give classes and demonstrations via Crystal's Creative Learning Insititute. JAM810 Posted March 20, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted March 20, 2006 Kitty9 ~~ Thank you, I'm going to look into this. My daughter wants to be a chef and I'm looking into fun and exciting learning experiences. We love crusing so this program would be an added value. Thank you again for your feedback. :D
travelbugs Posted March 21, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I don't know about any ship offering a class, but in the process of doing homework for an upcoming cruise I did find a town in Italy that offers cooking with chefs. Maybe an in depth look at your ports of call will turn something up!
Big Al B. Posted March 21, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2006 There is something called CLassic Journeys which I think also offer culinary tours in Europe which might be worth looking into.
