TMLAalum Posted December 11, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2023 I am starting to get serious about a private tour in Sydney. Has anyone had experience with this company: All Tours - Blackwood Tours - Tours of Cape Breton? Thanks!

suefrankw Posted February 22 #3 Share Posted February 22 we used them for our last year stop. Did the partial cabot trail tour... they were personable...on time for port pick up ... small van....we did not care for the restaurant they stop at on the trail for lunch... nothing out of the ordinary. this year we are going to try sydney taxi tour
TMLAalum Posted February 27 Author #4 Share Posted February 27 We opted for a tour with Cape Breton Taxi Tours. Simon MacKay customized a tour for the 6 of us sailing together that includes Baddeck, St. Ann's and the Red Island hike (Red Island Hiking Trail - Cape Breton Island (hikecapebreton.ca)

Rare Bostonjetset Posted April 2 #6 Share Posted April 2 (edited) Sydney seems like one of the less interesting ports on a Canada/NE cruise so I’m at a loss for what to do this June. Has anyone done anything like the “Haunted Historic Sydney: A Wicked Walking Tour” excursion offered by HAL (or something similar)? It’s pretty cheap and seems kinda fun. The only other semi interesting thing would be the Alexander Graham Bell museum but it’s rather far so excursions there are on the pricier side.
