jennylane Posted March 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2006 first, i'm wondering if anyone who is booked on the 4/18 star would be interested in meeting up for cocktails sometime during the cruise? my hubby and i are going by ourselves. also, i'm getting mixed answers about a passport. i have one, but its in a former name, so i'm not sure if i should take it and also the name change documents, or if i should not bother, or if i should quick attempt to get it updated somehow. if its not necessary, i wont bother. thanks!! jenny
starbucksjunkie Posted March 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I'm going on the same cruise with a group of 11 or 10 1/4th lol You do not need a passport at this time. Your birth cert will do fine.
pool girl Posted March 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2006 There is a roll call started with this cruise. We will also be cruising that week on the star. I believe there is a Cruise critic meeting on Deck 14 at 10:00 am on Wed morning. Maybe we will see you there.
jerhardt Posted March 21, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Passport's aren't required if you are Canadian or American, but they are "strongly" suggested (it speeds up immigration immensly). Birth Cert & DL work until the end of this year, then you will need a passport.
Chipster2 Posted March 21, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2006 The Birth Certificate must also be a certified copy. One with a raised stamp.
