Tea time everyday in Explora Lounge. The Captain had one of these teas at dinner and brought the exceptional quality of the tea to all our attention.

Our favorite table for two in the Emporium MarketPlace. On MSC we only walk through the Market Place buffet. We witnessed too many disgusting unsanitary passenger infractions on every cruise lines self serve buffets. Did I mention there is NO self-service on Explora?

Now this was the only time we saw a line form. Embarkation day. At the restaurant kiosk reservation desk and at each restaurant as well. These new guests must have read something somewhere ?

Short Breakfast buffet videos. Same as MSC Market Place, but no lines, and all behind glass.

I suppose there were plenty of loungers in the Conservatory/Jungle pool area to do this, but is it right? Here are two lounges with blue towels in the sun and the occupants are in the back ground in white bathrobes taking another two lounges in the shade. Typical of what we expect to find outside the Yacht Clubs in gen. pop.

Guest Artist,Tabitha, only on for one week, left in San Juan for a gig on Princess. A lot like Le Cabaret Rouge guest acts. Some have 3-4 month contracts and some are fill in on MSC.

This "Death in Paradise" tour begins at the pier for a 20 minute walk to the Honore police station, then a 10 minute walk to Catherine's Bar followed by a bus trip to the beach and site of the beach house. The pictured gazebo by the trees is 'supposed' to be the site of the beach house. And the view from this gazebo is the short video.

The pictures of the 'stars' adorn the interior of Catherine's Bar. Not as 'quaint' or clean and painted as in the one on TV. Deshaies is pronounced 'deh eh'. Breadfruit trees abound as do chickens and roosters running wild.

A 42 second video taken from the 'patio' of Catherines bar, displaying the same views we have come to enjoy in the TV series ? Reminds me of all those colorful cruise brochures of exotic places...then the shock !
