1st time getting a deal for sailing solo

Whenever I get NCL flights, I inquire about the hotel they use and it's always been MUCH more expensive than what I can find on my own. Well this time, I got a great deal for my 2-night stay in Vancouver at the Hilton Vancouver Downtown, $780 USD total. If I booked this myself, it would be around $1200.  I still looked around online and couldn't find anything significantly cheaper that was comparable in quality. Even the YWCA was just slightly cheaper at $703 once the taxes and fees were added. 

None of my friends can understand my excitement, so I thought I would share here 🙂

That's a big savings on a hotel in Vancouver! Last time I stayed there, back in June, I paid over $450USD a night.  I wouldn't be mad at $780 for 2 nights at all! Congrats!

And that's why I'm not doing an Alaskan cruise out of Vancouver. Good for you on finding a deal. Unfortunately that's still too high for me.

Wow! So deals do exist. I certainly understand your excitement after being quoted $900 for two in Miami at a hotel I could book for $400. We still stayed in a better, locally owned place instead for less.
