? about MSC App and Texting Others

I have not had a chance to really use the MSC app at sea.  We will be on the Seashore tomorrow. I have the app ready to go. So will the app automatically add those in my party so I can text them through the app? 

 

We are traveling with extended family (staying in a different cabin). Will we be able to text them, too? If so, how do we add them to text them? Just curious how this all works.

You may have to add them manually. The app can automatically add someone staying in the same stateroom but it doesn't always do it. I've seen both happen. You can add the others with the "+" feature using name/stateroom or by scanning their personal QR code (on their phone with the app). It's easy to use in either case.
