Refrigerators

I am sure this question has been asked numerous times before, but do the rooms on the Carnival Conquest have a refrigerator? I think we are in an 8C room.

We were in an 8D and we did have a refridgerator. It was stocked with snacks and some alcohol (price list is on the desk for reference to contents). The room steward will unload it for you to use as you wish if you ask. The fridge is locked when you first board and the room steward has the key. We did not need the fridge, so we left it locked the entire cruise.

Thanks for your reply, we need the refrigerator for my husband's insulin, it's so much easier to have a fridge than to keep it in the ice bucket all the time.

I dont think the refrigerators are all that cold. Soemthing you may want to check before you store medicines in there.

There is a whole thread about traveling with meds somewhere on this board. Our group is traveling with 2 different meds that both need to be refrigerated. The insulin should be okay but we are putting the other med in the frig at the pursers desk because it has to be kept at such a specific temp and we are worried about the frig being cold enough. I'll see if I can find the thread and post here for you.

you can have the steward empty the fridge so you can use it. Many people do that for their other medicine. Medicinal wine comes to mind.

I assume the steward empties the fridge from the for sale items in there.

Do they take the stuff in the fridge away, or leave it in the room? I prefer that they take it away.
