scoobee Posted January 6 #1 Share Posted January 6 (edited) Bliss offers a shore excursion to a "beach resort" with 5 pools. Does anyone know which resort it is? Have any of you done it? I'd love some pool time! Thank you! Scoob Edited January 6 by scoobee

mjkacmom Posted January 6 #3 Share Posted January 6 For any resort day pass we book independently, cheaper, faster, more time there, and most are a reasonable drive from the port.
carb Posted January 7 #4 Share Posted January 7 (edited) Not sure if you are interested but we took a small local water taxi (ten minute walk from the pier, 35 pesos) across the inlet to "Isla Piedras" (stone island, not a real island) where there is a long beach and lots of restaurants with outdoor seating and we gorged on ceviche and margaritas while the kids played in the surf. We had a fantastic time for pennies. Edited January 7 by carb

That's what we are trying to do. Would like to just taxi there and get a day pass rather than a formal tour. Do you have one you recommend for Matzatlan? It tells exactly where to walk from the cruise pier, where to buy the boat ticket (very small motor boat) to sail across the bay, and where to go once you get there to arrive at Stone Island. If we decide to do a beach day in Mazatlan, we will do it this way. Inexpensive, easy and casual.
