CRUISEWITHH Posted January 10 #1 Share Posted January 10 Would like to know what Terminal Regal Princess uses at Port of Galveston? Was boarding easy and will they use the same Terminal to depart and to return to? We are leaving March 17, 2024.
CarolynFH Posted January 10 #2 Share Posted January 10 (edited) The Port of Galveston website says she’ll sail from and return to Terminal 28 (used to be Terminal 2). https://www.portofgalveston.com/80/Cruise-Lines-Schedules Edited January 10 by CarolynFH Replace graphic with link
CarolynFH Posted January 10 #3 Share Posted January 10 (edited) There’s additional information linked here - we sail in a couple of weeks and I just realized - https://www.portofgalveston.com/80/Cruise-Lines-Schedules sorry, duplicate link - scroll to bottom of page and click on “2024 schedules” to bring up monthly schedules Edited January 10 by CarolynFH Duplicate link
Rare starvenger Posted January 15 #4 Share Posted January 15 For Boarding, it was a cluster for us getting there at 10:30 or so. When we got off, we could see a huge line waiting to board. So my suggestion is to try and get there after 12, as I think there will be less of a wait by then.
Coolcruise02 Posted January 22 #5 Share Posted January 22 We just boarded on Jan 14th. Easy!! We left our hotel at 9:30 and we were on board by 10:30. We parked at the Express Lot dropped off our luggage and entered the building. No lines for security or check-in. We sat in chairs for a couple minutes and they started boarding at 10:15. We left from pier #28 but returned to pier #25. Makes for a longer walk to the Express lot, but not bad. Here is a map. https://www.portofgalveston.com/91/Cruise-Parking--General-Information
flwinejunkie Posted January 23 #6 Share Posted January 23 Hello! I just booked my first cruise out of Galveston so I don't know anything about the port and hoping someone can answer some questions. I'm sailing on Princess. Do they have a separate check in waiting line for platinum/elite cruisers? Also, do they have a separate platinum and/or elite waiting rooms once inside the terminal if you're not allowed to board the ship yet? I love these Princess perks in Fort Lauderdale so hoping Galveston has something similar. Thanks for your help! Mary
Coolcruise02 Posted January 28 #7 Share Posted January 28 There was no separate line for security or check in but upstairs in the waiting room there was a separate seating area.
