Pride recent changes? Casino without bar?

Recommended Posts

It has been a long time since we have sailed on the Pride. What are some of the recent changes in the last year or so?

How is the casino without the bar? How is bar service without the bar?

We really enjoyed the ship and know she is not new, but we enjoy the fun and relaxation.

thanks

They added a dedicated Chef's Table room down on Riviera as well as replaced the library with a retail space. The also took down David and rebranded the steak house. I hear that statue is going to get rolled out on Firenze. JH came one hint short of a full announcement. Lots of other freshening up during the 2023 dry dock and some other enhancements I'm forgetting. She's perhaps our favorite ship; perfect for 'tight' ports where the megas can't go.

We were on the Pride twice last year, the first time immediately after it's dry dock. Love this ship/class. It's a small thing, but I really enjoyed the new carpeting in the public areas and especially in our cabin. One structural change was the bottom floor of the (formerly) 2-story nightclub was removed (I think in relation to the chef's table @jsglow mentioned above). We had previously enjoyed the quirky feel of Dr. Frankenstein's 2-level club on Miracle, but just missed out on the Pride's 2-story version.

The casino drink service seemed normal as usual - a little hit and miss. Sometimes I could get 3 drinks inside 20 mins, other times it could take 20 min to get 1 drink from the time it was ordered. All in all, pretty good though...
