bluewave Posted January 13 #1 Share Posted January 13 We’ll be in Aruba in early March. Looking for a reputable snorkeling tour. Long time ago we went on a drift snorkel there that was fabulous but I can’t remember who it was. Over a decade ago unfortunately. Don’t like the ship excursions because they’re too crowded. You can take the city bus to the snorkeling beaches for $3 per person. If you have your own equipment. You will see all the tours boats. Lots of fish and sea turtles to see not far from shore at all.
Rare mitsugirly Posted February 23 #4 Share Posted February 23 There are so many beaches you can snorkel on your own with GREAT snorkeling along the shoreline. There's honestly no need for a snorkel "tour" by a boat...unless you want to be on a boat as well. You can catch a taxi or use the public bus and head over to Boca Catalina (bus stops at Arashi but they are close together, but if you take a taxi you can get dropped off there) and snorkel your way back to Arashi where they have food and drinks and a lovely beach. Here are some of my pictures of the snorkeling in this area. BTW, most of the snorkeling boats take their passengers to Boca and they will be right there with you and you will have done this for cheaper. We booked with them when on a land tour back in 2018 and it was one of the best excursions we've done. The tour is the South Side Lunch cruise. The drift snorkel was amazing. They also do a calmer snorkel for those not wanting to do the drift snorkel. We are back in Aruba in February on a cruise but it's not available on the day we are there so I came here to look for other options! It's offered Tue/Thur/Fri.
