Getting to beaches??

Hi Everyone,

 

Because we will be travelling with 2 very young kids, we will probably not be doing any excursions at the ports. How easy is it to get to the pretty beaches if we just plan on our own? We want to be able to take the kids swimming in some lovely Carribean waters. Any ideas or info would be wonderful. Thanks in advance!

I don't know what ports you will be going to, but all of the ports I have been to have LOTS of taxis at the pier that will take you to the beaches. I suggest that you check out the Ports Of Call boards to find the names of the beaches people recommend. The cabbies will have ideas, but this way you will have some clue about which beach you want to go to. Some beaches are more family oriented, and some are more for the adult crowd.
