Best beach to snorkel on your own with

We arrive in Nashua off the Silhouette.  We are just looking for a great beach with amenities.  Thinking of Pearl Island.  Can we get transportation right off the ship?  I do not want to do the ship excursion.   I’ve read you have to be with a group to snorkel and it’s a short time slot.  Any other beaches we can snorkel off of on our own?  And suggestions?

maybe look into Nirvana/ Love beach or Jaws beach.  You could take a taxi or Uber there and back.  I did snorkeling at the Clifton Heritage National Park and it was fun to see the sculptures underwater.  We did the full tour with them but other people staying on the island brought their own equipment and just did the snorkeling for a reasonable entrance fee.
