Airfare and other questions

I am considering a Mediterranean cruise with Atlas this summer. Their website doesn’t give as much information as other cruise lines. So:

- Do they have an airfare purchase program? If so - is it helpful or not so much?

- Cruise stops in Venice - does it actually dock in Venice or farther away, as many ships do now?

- Has anyone experienced a pre or post extension in the Mediterranean? Worth it or no?

Thanks for any advice.

We did both a pre extension in Barcelona and post extension in Venice for our Mediterranean Cruise with Viking and loved both.

To answer your question about airfare… Atlas arranged all of our airfare for our Edinburgh to Dublin cruise this past September, and has also arranged our airfare for our Greece to Venice cruise in August of this year. We looked at booking our own business class flights for both; however, we could not find anything for the price that Atlas offered.

Have not checked to see where the cruise ship docks when we disembark in Venice yet.
