Drink and WIFI Packages - Do they ever get discounted pre cruise?

I do not plan to buy the Drink/WIFI cruise package but I need WIFI for 2 devices.  Does the WIFI or Drink package go on Sale pre cruise like I have seen with other cruiselines (RCL, Celebrity)?  If it's rare, then the Drink/WIFI cruise package might be a better deal.

Drinks packages only seem to be heavily discounted at the point of purchase.

Wifi is discounted, but only by around 20% or so for an entire voyage package. Once onboard there are certain Wi-Fi offers for ‘remainder of voyage’ so if you can cope without at the start, you can buy fewer days for cheaper later.

As Ferretktf says they always seem cheaper if there is an offer on at the time of purchase.

 

This will be our first MSC cruise having done 4 on RC, in the pre cruise planner I haven't seen the cost of anything change (drinks, speciality restaurants etc) unlike RC that seem to change their prices of things leading up to the cruise, or the used to anyway, been over 4 years since we were on one.

No, they do not have "sales" like on Royal.  Better to pre purchase.
