Is there enough to see at this port, or is  Bilbao a not to be missed place ?

could we do both places ?

we are there in May 09:00 till 18:00

Getxo town is where "Bilbao port" is located. Bilbao is just a few kilometres inside

There's nothing to see at Getxo (I'm afraid, I had a mate who lived there).

There's direct underground from Getxo harbour to Bilbao centre. Just google it

Cruise lines will usually run shuttle buses to and from Bilbao, dropping off close to the old town.

Lots to see and do in Bilbao with the Guggenheim probably the #1 attraction. Even if you don't want to enter, there are excellent views of the building from the river walkway opposite. Check  tourist information websites, Tripadvisor, YouTube, guide books etc. for ideas.

Getxo is where the beaches are to be found, but possibly not the best option in May.
