Antarctic Airways flights to Puerto Williams - hand luggage

People who have done this route - the hand luggage allowance on this charter flight is listed as 8kg and also the size of the hand luggage is quite specific. Do they enforce these dimensions?  I’m concerned my case is a bit too tall 🫣

I took my usual international carry-on, and admit it was overweight, so don’t worry too much.  Nothing was weighed.  On the way back, the extra weight of the parka inside the backpack was also taken into account as the pilots knew everyone would have that extra weight.  As the centre seat along one side of the aircraft is not used, there is some leeway if people don’t go stupid.

When I took this flight last fall, they did not weigh or measure any of the hand luggage. Everyone I’ve spoken with had the same experience.
