Dubai guide recommendations

All we will be in Dubai for 5 days before our cruise in November looking for a guide for a day do any of you have recommendations for one.

I used Dubaiprivatetour dot com - that’s the website -  used them 7 years ago when we spent a few days in Dubai before a cruise.  Did a full day Dubai tour one day and a day tour to Abu Dhabi another day and a few small tours around Dubai.  Also arranged for them to take us from our hotel to the ship on the day of embarkation. Enjoyed all of the tours and their services.

You didn't say if this will be your first time in Dubai - but there is plenty to see and do : we went to the Burj Khalifa, took the abra across to visit the Souk, went to the beach area, palm jumeirah, bur dubai - Here is an idea of a packed itinerary  . Definitely the Burj Khalifa if you have not already visited: also then the Dubai mall with its free aquarium is worth checking out. The fountains outside the mall have show times. I can recommend the museum of the future. We liked our visit to the Dubai creek for a feeling of old Dubai - we used the abra to get across to the souk. On the other side of Dubai paying a visit to the palm islands with the monorail - was a nice experience when you head over to Atlantis.

last year we did a two day hop on hop off bus.  stayed on for the complete trip. then got off the second time around at what we wanted to see more of.

Several years ago we used Dubai Private Tour. Website is Dubaiprivatetour dot com.  We spent several days there before a cruise and did several tours with them including one to Abu Dhabi and also arranged for them to take us to the ship on embarkation day. Would highly recommend them.
