Terry Bill Posted February 8 #1 Share Posted February 8 I have cruised with Cunard twice, and I enjoyed the perks that came with booking a Queens Grill Suite. It's basically Business Class on a Ship. Do any other cruise lines have 'Business Class' areas and perks, or is it just Cunard? Thanks
exlondoner Posted February 8 #2 Share Posted February 8 NCL, MSC, Celebrity, I believe, for a start.
tlc1972 Posted February 8 #3 Share Posted February 8 Here's what I think may be comparable, but would vary based on personal preferance: Celebrity = Luminae for suite guests Holland America = Club Orange NCL = Haven (menu never changes, but may have a special dish from time to time) MSC = Yacht Club Princess has "The Reserve Collection", but that's just a separate seating area within the MDR on most ships - however, I believe their new ship will have a dedicated restaurant for suite guests. Rare NE John Posted February 8 #5 Share Posted February 8 (edited) I’d say QG is first class and PG is business class as a better comparison. Some of the smaller lines would be ultra luxury with a different price point than Cunard and those lines you mentioned. Also, other lines may offer paid upgrade access to like Club Orange or Yacht Club but a passenger can still have an inside or balcony cabin and not stay in a suite. It seems like the higher end offerings on other lines are more hybrid than Cunard who aligns where you eat to wear you sleep.
