Walkie Talkies

I've seen postings before about the kind of walkie talkies work best on the ships but I can't seem to find their posts now. Can anyone tell me what are the best kinds to purchase that will work well on the ships?

We took our walkie talkies on our cruise this past January and they worked beautifully! I'm not sure what brand they are, but I know we purchased them at Source - I'm sure they are just the basic model as they were relatively inexpensive.
