Will be taking a cruise leaving from Quebec City in July. Will be coming in 2 days early to sight-see. Interested if anyone has stayed at either the Hotel le Priori or Hotel Des Coutellier and what your impressions/recommendation on either of these 2.

Thanks

In 2021 I took a Road Scholar tour of Quebec City. We stayed in a very nice hotel one block from the wall of the old city, Palace Royale. I would stay there again if I were to return.

Enjoy your time in Quebec City. I look forward to going back for one day when my ship, Volendam, docks on our way to Montreal.

We are staying there in Sept., It looks like a beautiful hotel. Do you know if there is a hop on hop off bus near the hotel? Also how is the walk to the old city, is there a lot to on our way?

Just for information, as we are looking at hotels for September, the Hotel le Priori doesn't have an elevator I don't think.  Many of the buildings in old Quebec are tall and only stairs, as we once found out with a B&B and had to drag suitcases up three flights.  No fun when you are getting on in life.  The Hotel Des Coutellier does, I believe have an elevator.
