Southampton Rental Cars

Does anyone know of rental car companies near the Royal Caribbean dock?  I’m looking to rent a car for a couple of days & it looks like more trouble & expense than it’s worth.  Even the budget car companies are over $350 for an economy car.  I’ve rented lots of cars in England so I’m wondering if it’s just a Southampton thing…(these high rates)
