Rare 20165 Posted February 20 #1 Share Posted February 20 So this is pretty specific, but we are trying to rack up more activity on out next cruise in the casino to see if we can get some casino offers in the future and from what i have read, its not how much you spend but rather how much time / cycles you spend in there. So, that being said, the only thing in the casino i can play for any length of time is video poker and i prefer it to be at the bar. A lot of ships have it built into the bar so im wondering if that's the case with Enchanted. thanks
Rare KarmaCruisers Posted February 20 #2 Share Posted February 20 I’ve only sailed a few Royal class ships..but I’ve sailed every class in carnival and on NO ship I’ve ever sailed, have I seen bar top video poker. Also; be careful..if you intend to “play for comps”; video poker is $5 a point…and especially drinking and playing, it’d take a WHILE to rack up any significant points to start getting casino offers.

I strongly suspect the house edge on cruise slots is at least 12%. I think Princess offers a VP game with a 96% return, and maybe they have better. So even if you have to play twice as much money, VP is the better option, assuming you are willing and/or able to learn how to play video poker.
