Globaliser Posted March 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2006 So much for all those e-mails from P&O UK about a "new launch" on 22 March. It's now 23 March here and the website is still the same old website with the same old logo and branding. If it wasn't for the leaks elsewhere, I wouldn't even have known that it was a logo relaunch. I think I'll go back to sleep now.

alibail Posted March 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2006 They seem to have changed the logo's that appear on the web camera's when they're not working. (We'll ive just noticed its changed, might have been like that for ages) They still havn't fixed their navigation so it works with IE7 though!! Globaliser Posted March 23, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted March 23, 2006 wats the story behind the changing logo? didnt know it was going to happen! There's been a series of e-mails over the last few days entitled "Prepare for a major unveiling on the 22nd March..." The image on each of them has said, in order:- "What's out there" "on the horizon?" "A new dawn is coming" "...and an exciting new place to visit." A newspaper on Monday published the story that it's a new logo and a new website. They still havn't fixed their navigation so it works with IE7 though!!Slightly OT, but IE7 is still in beta, so many websites do not yet recognise it as a valid browser. Globaliser Posted April 2, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted April 2, 2006 There's been a series of e-mails over the last few days entitled "Prepare for a major unveiling on the 22nd March..." The image on each of them has said, in order:- "What's out there" "on the horizon?" "A new dawn is coming" "...and an exciting new place to visit." Finally, P&O have sent out the last in the teaser series. They had the good grace to title it "Apologies for the delay, here at last ..." :D Unsurprisingly the image just refers to the new website. Druke I Posted April 2, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 2, 2006 I've been waiting also - I didn't think they (P&O) were refering to my birthday, which happens to be Mar 22, and the day we disembarked Regal Princess in Santiago Chile, having 'rounded the Horn.
