Princess shuttle to LHR

We are taking the Princess shuttle from Southampton port to Heathrow at the end of our cruise.  Since our American Air flight leaves out of terminal 3, we're considering staying at the Aerotel Hotel at Terminal 3 for convenience.  There are no decent flights on Sunday, 5/19 which is why we elected to stay over so we can get a direct flight to PHL on Monday.  Do you know where the shuttle takes you once it gets to the airport?  Does it stop at different terminals?  It would be very difficult for us to be dealing with luggage if we had to board trains, the tube or busses.  One more question....is there any place to grab a quick bite for dinner and breakfast in the morning near terminal 3?  Thanks for help.

I have watched a lot of YouTube videos on T3.  Start there.

 

There are places to eat before security in T3.

Do you realize that the Aerotel has windowless rooms?  A very basic in-transit hotel.  Check out Hilton Garden Inn Terminal 2.  It is about a 15 minute walk to T3 through connecting tunnels and walkways.

 

The shuttle should drop you off at T3 (or T2) and LHR has free luggage carts for your convenience.

The Aerotel.  Saw the room and left.  Very basic.

That said understand your baggage issue.  Drop off the bags and take the subway into town.  Cheap and easy.   Just ask when you check in.

I second Garden Inn at Terminal 2. Be careful if you book this though, there is more than one Garden Inn at Heathrow.
