Hi

On a Middle East cruise from Dubai - the ship overnights in Dubai.
Does the casino open when docked in Dubai or does it have to remain closed?

In 2021 when we over-nighted in Dubai, the casino did not open.

I read somewhere that, about MSC

- Dollar in cruises departing from Miami or New York (Canada and Western Caribe)

- Sterlling pound in cruise departing Southampton to north Spain and East France

- Euro in North Europe, Scandinavia, Eastern Caribe, anywhere in Mediterranean, Red Sea...

I do not know about Brazil, South Africa and Japan

thanks. I didn't know.

May I find the document with MSC currencies I will post.

In addition.... Grand Voyages through America, in Dollars, through Europe, in Europe.

It would be interesting to know where they shift from one to the other currency on board. This is... a ship doing tours in the Mediterranean with all in Euros and (I bet after Barcelona), all in Dollars

Any amount deposited in cash and not spent during the cruise will be reimbursed in cash at the Reception - Guest Service on the final morning before disembarkation. Please note that personal cheques are not accepted. For cruises in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Antilles, Dubai, the Emirates and Oman, as well as MSC Grand Voyages departing from Europe, the onboard currency is the Euro (€). For cruises in the Caribbean, South America and South Africa, as well as MSC Grand Voyages going to Europe and to Australia, the onboard currency is the US Dollar ($).The onboard currency for MSC Virtuosa summer season cruises through October 2023 will be the British Pound (£).
