latebuyer Posted March 9 #1 Share Posted March 9 I’m interested if there is just dinner or lunch too. Also if there is entertainment. This is holland america.
Sarnia 432 Posted March 9 #2 Share Posted March 9 We have done this with Princess a few times. it is run like a regular cruise, lunch in the buffet (on Princess the dining room is open too). in the evening all the specialty dining is open as well as the buffet and main dining room. Breakfast in the morning, dining room or buffet, limited or no room service breakfast (like any other debark day). There will likely be a number of back to back cruisers onboard, so service carries on.
Rare martincath Posted March 10 #3 Share Posted March 10 Haven't for a few years, but same experience as above - a normal day aboard, entertainment program running, all the meals. I found the bars a bit more packed than normal, folks with only one night seem to like making the most of it, but breakfast in the dining room was quieter than a normal disembarkation day (probably because of all the late night partiers who were feeling a bit queasy in the morning!)
