A long time since I visited ! We are on QV this year with an overnight in Istanbul. Does anyone know where Cunard usually berth there ? Is it walking distance to the Galatea bridge or do they run a shuttle ? We will maybe do a tour the one day but explore on our own on the other ?

We were there in October last year though joining Azamara Onward.

 

There is a new cruise terminal which basically is underground ....

 

 

Once through the check-in one heads up onto the jetty via a walkway, indicated by the red arrow...

 

 

It is still within a 15 minute walk of the Galata Bridge.....

 

 

...and the usual modes of transport are all as they have been over the years.

Perhaps I should add, joining with luggage is not recommended on foot. If you have transfers booked all well and good but if arranging your own you really need a taxi that knows and understands where you are going.
