Boarding Divina in Miami

Our next cruise is the Divina sailing from Miami. We are YC.

When completing the on-line check in, our earliest boarding time is 3pm. That seems a bit late based on our experience with other cruise lines. Would like to hear from others who sailed YC, were you able to board earlier than 3pm?

thanks

Ignore the time you are given, just turn up around 10:30 or so and you'll go straight onboard.

Last month, we left our hotel in the Brickell area around 10:25 from memory and we were onboard and in the YC lounge about 30 mins later ...

The magnificent 'Pepe' met us right after security and had us onboard in record time, I'd hope your experience would be similar.

We’re on Divina second week of April, leaving out of Miami, in YC, and our boarding time shows as 2:00.  Based on everything we’ve heard, we plan to be there around 11:00-11:30.

The only thing that can sometimes cause a delay is if there is a more detailed clearance process for the ship itself, due to the previous cruise visiting ports like Colombia, but if it is just one of the shorter Caribbean island cruises then you should be fine.

Our experience was very much like @Mark_T.  Took Lyft from our hotel in Fort Lauderdale and it took longer for that drive than it did to board the ship.  We were dopped off very close to the Yacht Club tent, walked our bags over and dropped them off, and was escorted the rest of the way through the process.   The only delay we had was one couple if the group stopped to get their picture taken and the butler escorting us had us wait for them.
