  1. What ship are you on? Have you spoken to the Loyalty Concierge and or Guest Services about all these issues?
  2. I like the way you think but Ron Zacapa 23 taste better to me.
  3. Mark - on Celebrity they are definitely limiting bandwidth/speed on each device. I have tested this on both Millennium and Silhouette. I have sat in the Retreat lounge on both ships within eye sight of one of the ship's Access point - best speed I received was just a little of 5 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up. On Millennium on the first cruise there was a WiFi access point in the hallway just six feet away from our cabin door. On the second cruise on Millennium he WiFi access point was further down the hall and the speeds I was getting were less than what I received when on the first cruise but the speeds were the same in the Retreat Lounge. On MSC, both on Divina and on Seascape there were times where I would get speeds in excess of 25 Mpbs down and 15 Mbps up sitting in the Top Sail Lounge in view of a WiFi access point. Both Celebrity and MSC speedtest showed that they were using StarLink.
  4. Rest assured they do not have a measurable impact on YOUR WiFi speed. The travel router is a single device and the bandwidth allocated to it is the same as the bandwidth allocated to your device.
  5. My DW does not like for her hair to be messed up so we almost always used deck 7 instead of just staying on deck 15, where our cabin was. I cannot remember if we ever went from bow to stern on any of the passenger cabin decks.
  6. I agree regarding the M & S class Retreat Sundecks. They were an after thought. E-class they were a part of the original design. I don't think we used the Retreat Sundeck on our last RCCL cruises (B2B Alaska and February Caribbean). We'll be on Symphony in June and will take a look but we are not sun worshiper's and always seek out shady spots when outside.
  7. Yes, breakfast was available at the One Pool on Divina.
  8. There is no guarantee they will all be available on any given ship/cruise http://media.celebritycruises.com/celebrity/media/celebrity/shared_assets/pdf/Classic-Premium-Bev-Pckgs.pdf My favorites are: New Fashioned (made with Brugal or Zacapa 23) French 75 Various Martini's (Espresso, Sidecar, Cucumber, etc..) Old Fashioned
  9. Well we all know from experience on other cruise lines with StarLink that Celebrity throttles each user's bandwidth. Just like the multiple AC outlet devices that Royal now confiscates, we'll just have to wait and see if this ban on travel routers extends over from Royal to Celebrity.
  10. It may seem that way but it's not. There is nothing that I have found that prohibits this. It is still a single device connected to Celebrity's network.
  11. Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. That is really unusual for that hotel. We normally have the buffet breakfast there, it's free due to my Marriott status, and they've been quick to bring us coffee and juice.
  12. No they do not increase bandwidth. The travel router establishes a single connection to the ship's WiFi access point and that connection is shared by each device connected to the travel router. It depends. If you want one of you to be connected at a time then no, you really do not need this. However, if you and your wife both want to be online at the same time you can either each use a separate account or you can use a travel router with a single account,
  13. That is the way it is on MSC. Will have to see how this shakes out over the next few months as I have always taken a travel router with me so both my wife and I could use our iPads while in our room with only one WiFi account.
  14. We really enjoyed the sandwiches we have gotten there and agree, they are a meal and then some.
  15. Not sure what $0.60 dividend you are speaking of but ....
  16. Is there anyone else thinking like me that we wish she could bury this thread. 🤣 The buffet at the Solarium on Oasis class ships was always a great option because not too many people were aware of it Now there is a fear growing in me that as more and more attention is brought to it, that it will become like the Windjammer, very over crowded. Park Cafe was an undiscovered gem as well but seems even that is getting very widely known.
  17. I do not remember us having one in our YC1 in February. When we wanted hot water for tea, I went to the TSL and got a pot from the bartender.
  18. I totally agree. Celebrity really needs to step up the game, especially with shaded areas on their Retreat Sundecks. We hardly use the Retreat Sundeck for this very reason.
  19. We also enjoy Luminae on M and S class. We only have one E-class experience, Edge in 2020, and were disappointed when we could not order from the MDR menu. We found CK okay for us and will be able to do a true comparison with Luminae this coming June, after our April TP on Solstice. I really enjoyed the change of pace in the YC vs Luminae. I guess I am just growing tired of the menu in Luminae and really enjoyed the variety of foods offered by MSC in the YC restaurants on Divina and Seascape.
  20. I have taken both my DW and my card to the bar, received two cans of soda, took them back to the table where we were sitting and then went back and got two more, again showing both cards. We then took the soda's to the room when we left the bar.
  21. I think the Seaxxxx series are the best for the number of YC cabins vs the size of the TSL and the YC Restaurant. We really enjoyed our experience on Seascape and only had to wait once in the TSL for a table at dinner. That was on Gala night.
  22. I keep hoping that it will split ..
  23. I can understand this being the case. The drinks are just so darn good. Have you asked them to make a "Holiday Coffee?" Those are absolutely delicious after breakfast. @Best Cat Mom & @Best cat Dad turned us onto them on Seaside and we've started making a slightly modified version at home, regular coffee vs espresso.
  24. Staying at the Renaissance means not having to cross any major street. When we go to the Walgreens across the street from the hotel, we do it at the traffic light on the corner. A few, more than five, years back we did venture down 17th street back toward the airport and found a few places to eat, including a sandwich shop on a side street that had some really good sandwiches. We are normally there the night before and depending on arrival time have lunch at the Boatyard and dinner in the hotel or vice versa most of the time.
  25. We took at tour on one of our Royal Caribbean sailings and almost missed the ship. Unbeknownst to us, the tour ended on the mainland side and not at the cruise port ferry terminal where it started. We almost had to run to catch the ferry back to Cozumel and from the ferry terminal to the ship. I think we returned about 45 minutes before sail away. It was a very long day in the bus going to and from the ruins, with a longer than necessary stop at a souvenir shop along the road to the runs. My wife and I still laugh when we remember the "box lunch" we were given, sandwich, apple, and a bag of chips with a small bottle of water.
