Will/when wifi upgrade price drop onboard?

I was on the Epic last week, and was carefully rationing the 150 minutes of wifi included in the Free At Sea package. To have upgraded to unlimited wifi pre-cruise or once onboard for the week would have cost $110. However, I happened to notice early on Day 4 that they were offering the unlimited upgrade for $50, with over have the cruise left, this was a no-brainer for me. 

 

Does anyone know if this discount is consistently offered and, if so, what day they drop the price? Rather than rationing my online time to about 20 minutes per day, I could have used about 45 minutes a day before this offer became known. Or even more if offered by the 2nd or 3rd day.
