Zetta83 Posted March 14 #1 Share Posted March 14 Hi, I own Carnival shares via my online broker Selfwealth. Besides the initial trade, I have not received any updates/voting with my name from the custodian. Shareholder Benefit requires evidence within 3 months. May I know from those whom own shares and claim the benefits, how you do it or which broker you use to allow you to receive updated evidence of your ownership? Thanks. Rare arxcards Posted March 14 #2 Share Posted March 14 There are dozens of endorsements here - For me, it is CMC Markets. For an online broker, all you need is to do is login to view & download a statement of your current shareholding to validate your shareholder OBC. These statements are live and will show the current date and number of shares held. I haven't looked into any voting or rights. As a foreign owner of a small bundle of shares, I don't know if I have any rights nor do I seek them.
Relaxing Robbies Posted March 15 #3 Share Posted March 15 I bought my shares through an Australian broker called Stake. I can login and print out a monthly shareholdings report. I receive an email each year encouraging me to vote, but I have never bothered to do so.
