Travel Agent with Elite Status through Commodore Training

Hi, all! This is a question for fellow travel agents who have reached Commodore status with Princess's training. 
 

When I go to order my medallion for my upcoming European cruise, it shows that it will be gold (I've cruised with Princess before). I've confirmed with Princess that I've completed my refresher training courses and will receive Elite benefits on board. Here's my question: will my medallion be gold as it's showing now or will it be black when I get it?

could go either way.  On all past trips I have gotten the black elite but this cruise I got the color for my real level.

Were you still able to easily get the Elite benefits while onboard even though your medallion didn't reflect it?
