HI FLL Beach...a mistake?

I know i shouldn't complain for $80 a night, but i just booked the Holiday Inn Fort Lauderdale beach on Priceline and i'm scared. I just read the reviews on tripadvisor, and they weren't good. Has anyone stayed here or know anything about it? We won't be checking in until 10p and we leave the next morning for our cruise, so all i need is a clean place to stay. I'm hoping i didn't make a big mistake! Ugh! :(

Take the tripadvisor reviews with a grain of salt, they are not the be all, end all of hotel reviews.

While not a 5 star deluxe resort, you'll be just fine for a night. ;)

Don't be scared. We stayed there this past january and it was perfectly fine.

The rooms were clean, the dining room was good and you can walk across the street and stroll on the beach. It also has the warmest pool I have ever been in :), I loved it. For $80 per nite I think you should be quite happy.

For the night you will be fine. Hotels in this area lead a hard life. They house a lot of fun loving young people and the wind, sand, and sea air really eat away at the physical plant.
