Kids Pirate Treasure Hunt

I took this tour today, but I didn't have a kid. 😊 I wanted to see how kids enjoy historic walking tours, and they were excited from the very beginning.

The guide gives each kid a simple pirate hat and inflatable sword. The parents mostly had to blow those up. After all the kids showed up they were given laminated treasure maps which showed the historical stops. The guide had a great script with fill-in-the-blank riddles that eventually became clues to the treasure.

I listed kid activities in another thread, because people are always asking for ideas. I will eventually add this tour to that thread, but for now you can learn more about the tour here.
