zumbaqueen1 Posted April 9 #1 Share Posted April 9 Hello, For those who have sailed Mediterranean itinerary Barcelona, Cannes, Sardinia, Sicily, Mykonos, Santorini and Piraeus...or similar in mid October what rx regarding temps and travel clothing. We frequently travel to Mexico and hot climates, so I am trying to envision packing for cooler weather and if sea evenings are cold.. to make this more fun we only travel with carry-ons... 🙂
jon81uk Posted April 9 #2 Share Posted April 9 We did it October 2022 and it was shorts weather most of the time, I did wear jeans in Funchal Madeira as it was raining and a little chilly but Malaga Ibiza and Barcelona were 20C or warmer. That time we did have bad weather in the Gibraltar Strait area and there was a few other wet evenings, Scarlet night didn’t have the pool party as it was raining.
Jamesv281117 Posted April 9 #3 Share Posted April 9 Have sailed October in those areas and had nice weather some days but also some unsettled and stormy weather so would definitely prepare for that worst case scenario.
Lisa353 Posted April 9 #4 Share Posted April 9 I have been quite lucky that every time I have sailed the Med in October it has been mostly sunny and between 20C and 27C. It has been warm enough to wear shorts and t-shirt. I live in Scotland though so anything about 20C is warm for me.

I live at 8500 feet (2590m) in the mountains of Colorado and I'm like you - 20C is a heat wave.
