mfs2k Posted April 12 #1 Share Posted April 12 Friends want to sail with us on Legend 9/6/24 from Rome but it's been sold out for a month or two so the sailing doesn't appear anywhere on selling websites. If someone were to cancel, would that sailing suddenly reappear? Does Carnival have waitlists for sold out bookings? I also checked agencies which may have blocked cabins but I don't see availability anywhere. What about on the final payment date? Do people decide they'll forfeit their deposits and cabins become available then?
mz-s Posted April 12 #2 Share Posted April 12 Carnival does have a waitlist.
Megan_Strick Posted April 12 #3 Share Posted April 12 It may be better to call. PVP's may have access to available rooms that you can't see.
geovet Posted April 12 #4 Share Posted April 12 They do open as cancellations come. Sometimes it will show up on the website.
bigdog1958 Posted April 12 #5 Share Posted April 12 Yes, if cancelations happen, carnival list back on the website. They have a wait list, but I would check the website daily and not rely on the waitlist.
Old Fart Cruisers Posted April 12 #6 Share Posted April 12 I agree about a PVP having access to more then what is available on the website. When we couldn't find two rooms together, I found two that were close and called our PVP to book them. He actually had a few sets of two together, in a much better then location, even though they didn't show up online. He said his info is updated almost instantly, while it takes a while for the website to be updated.
dacsmom Posted April 12 #7 Share Posted April 12 Try calling a PVP, or a site like Vacations to Go or Crucon. There may be held cabins that have not been turned back in yet.
