very cold canuck Posted March 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2006 Can anyone tell me if the balcony staterooms on Adventure of the Seas has a mini fridge? DH and I have never stayen in anything other than an inside stateroom and don't know what to expect other than sunshine and a private balcony! Any help would be appreciated. RevSmith Posted March 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2006 Yes they do...all balcony's have a frigerator. And they normally keep things quite cool...but no ice.
Laughing Gull Posted January 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Can we ask them to empty the fridge so I don't worry about the kids "forgetting" there is a charge on the drinks and snacks? If the fridges can be emptied do we have to ask for this to be done after we're on board? Further to that, is it possible to brink your own snacks and sodas on board? What about bottled water? Does it taste "funny" as the kids would say?

serene56 Posted January 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Water onboard is fine to drink-- no funny tastes. You can carry onboard water/soda within a reasonable amount. Snacks-- what kinds of snacks are you talking about. Most snacks you can get onboard or through room service. Snacks for taking off the ship in ports... like peanut butter crackers etc are good. (cant carry off food from the ship in ports-- only prepackaged stuff)

Stuff to take off the ship on our excursions or to eat in the cabin. i have no idea what room service is like, but sometimes you (well, ok...I) just want a couple of chips or something. (nuts onboard will cost you a pretty penny) chocalate-- you will find plenty of choc onboard. Soft serve ice cream can be found also.
Laughing Gull Posted January 16, 2007 #8 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Whoa! All of that is available too? "Free"? I may never leave the ship. LOL I know we get envelopes for tips, but will the room service waiter still expect a tip? Is there anywhere to see prices of drinks? I'd love a glass of wine on my balcony before dinner. :p
